Title

Rather than simply copying and pasting a piece of another blog I work on to this blog I seldom work on, I am sharing the blog with you. If you want something that might anger or spark a bit of interest in your thoughts, check out this. Look at the latest post entitled Systematical Shutdown and consider yourselves lucky that I didn't post it on here. Feel free to comment on the other blog but be warned that Dr. Franklin doesn't (I don't think) grade comments on other blogs 'cept this one.

So, if you're after the grade and nothing more: read this and comment back on this entry for it... maybe it'll make others read it too.

Why do you say that minority students need and deserve an education more than white students??? Who's to say who deserves an education more than somebody else? Shouldn't we all have an equal opportunity for an education?

No, I said that NCLB causes kids to dropout from school before completing high school. Most of the dropouts are minorities. Thus, these minorities need more help than the average white person because the system has obviously lost them somewhere along the way. As future teachers, we need to help ALL our students from getting lost. Thus, the minorities, black, asian, mexican, etc., peoples need more help than white kids because they have more hardships to deal with. Even learning the language of English can be a reason to say what I've stated.

Sorry if this seemed repeatitive.
